Extra Innings: The Story of Modisett Ball Park is the tale of the Great American Pastime in the small Nebraska town of Rushville. From a village of less than 1,200 souls arose one of the best ball fields of western Nebraska, that went on to host baseball schools and try-out camps for the Milwaukee Braves, New York Yankees, and Los Angeles Angels.
In 2014, just in time for its diamond anniversary, Modisett Ball Park was completely rebuilt and restored to its former glory.
